Over 10 weeks in the Fall of 2020 the Collective Conservatory worked alongside the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County to create a workshop centered around composition and improvisation inspired by visual content. In a collaboration with the Interlochen Center for Film and New Media students began composing themes based on student films. With help from Chicago based composer Paul Bedal, student submitted recordings were used to score two student made films.

The Symphonic Suite is an overture of musical themes that are inspired by films made by students at the Interlochen Center of Film and New Media. The result is a truly interdisciplinary collaboration between young musicians and young film makers.
