In the early summer of 2020 the Collective Conservatory partnered with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's ORCHkids to create a project focused around financial literacy and financial empowerment, a subject of great importance and relevance in the tumultuous months following the COVID-19 outbreak and the civil unrest following the murder of George Floyd. Teaming up with hip hop duo and financial literacy advocates The Reminders, students participated in a week long workshop learning about finance and financial empowerment, using these concepts as source material for new musical compositions.

These tracks are meant to inform and inspire others to engage in positive financial practices. Please enjoy!
