In the Spring of 2020, students from Trenton Music Makers (Trenton, NJ) and Salty Cricket (Salt Lake City, UT) gathered in an online Collective Conservatory collaboration to explore and create the music produced in these two tracks. For one week, students captured recordings from their daily life, and improvised together to generate musical content, which was then professionally produced. These one-of-a-kind tracks are fabulous examples of the potential of online collective composition, and are extremely catchy! Take a listen, come with us on the sonic journey, and see if you can identity some of the sounds along the way.
